Chill Bar

Fresh and clean, this gelato bar is just what Avalon needs on a sunny Sunday afternoon, and the bikini and boardshorted crowds agreed.

The summer hasn't arrived just yet but this is one popular spot.
Surprisingly I haven't been here before, so in the interests of scientific research I ventured in. A large range of gelatos and sorbets make choosing the most difficult part, (ask for a taste before you buy).
There is the obligatory coffee machine and three staff working hard pumping out the orders.

There is limited seating inside and some outside tables on the footpath. It is facing due west but the afternoon sun is rarely a problem as the Pacific seabreeze cools things down.

Double scoop of coconut and chocolate .

Cost $5.80

Rating: Vespa

The menu is stuck to the wall, makes it hard to change the prices.

Double deck of flavour.

One of the two bays of gelato.
