First class food in a great setting.
We nabbed table outside on a sunny summer day, gentle breeze, holiday atmosphere ... and lots of smiling happy people wandering aimlessly. This is the time of year when the holidaymakers arrive. Lots of foreign accents abound.
The wait staff were stretched but got everything right on time. Chilled water, perfect coffee, linen napkins wrapping the cutlery. From the breakfast menu we had the scrambled eggs and crunchy granola with rhubarb. Although pricey this is best cafe in Avalon.
